The Society of Women Artists

The SWA is a unique Society in that its rich mix of oil painters, water colourists, sculptors, printers and ceramicists is able to showcase one of the most diverse shows in London today. Our artists all have something to say about modern life as well as gaining inspiration from history: the environment and human spirit in the form of drama, passion and comedy feature heavily in the beautiful work what was on show at the 2013 Annual Exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London. ‘Sue Jelley,
President.’

Parallax Art fair

Parallax ‘Art’ Fair is the first non-art fair and takes place at Chelsea Town Hall. P(AF) makes a uniquely refreshing conceptual statement about subjectivity and the commoditization of taste, as well as raising questions about the role of the artist, art public and the way the industry functions. The event attracts around 200 artists from all over the world.
